Mgr. Ing. Prashant Pandey
A visionary environmental researcher and innovator, he is the founder of the PushpPrakash Foundation, a non-profit initiative dedicated to sustainable development and environmental stewardship. He conceptualized the Institute for Sustainable Environmental & Socio-economy (ISE&Se), focusing on developing nature-based solutions to mitigate environmental pollution while fostering socio-economic growth.
He pursued his higher education from Doon University, India, and further advanced his academic journey at the prestigious University of Miskolc, Hungary. His interdisciplinary expertise bridges environmental science, engineering, and socio-economic sustainability.
Currently serving as a Technical Consultant A at the Central Pollution Control Board under the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEF&CC), New Delhi, he has also contributed internationally through his work with the Department of Bioeconomy at Wrocław University of Environmental and Life Sciences (UPWr), Poland. His research portfolio includes numerous impactful publications addressing critical issues in air and water pollution.
A consistently high achiever, he qualified the highly competitive NET-JRF examination with outstanding percentiles of 99.7 (2018) and 97.9 (2019). In recognition of his scientific contributions, he was honored with the Young Scientist Award by the Government of Uttarakhand, India, and the Best Research Award by ISER, Philippines.
Driven by innovation in environmental technology and engineering, his mission is to restore ecological balance while creating sustainable income opportunities through waste valorization. He is equally passionate about education, promoting innovative teaching methodologies, nurturing future leaders, and offering scholarships to deserving students. He firmly believes that education is the backbone of a developed and progressive society.
Beyond his professional and academic pursuits, he is deeply committed to social upliftment. He aspires to dedicate his life to enhancing the well-being of his village and city by addressing critical challenges such as hunger, poverty, and access to healthcare. Through practical, everyday solutions rooted in sustainability and community participation, he aims to create meaningful and lasting impact in people’s lives.
